The Video Club for teens which was so popular last summer is back! This year we are continuing our work connecting youth with their community through the creation of videos. Participants in the video club will research the featured agency or group, write interview questions, film the interview and then edit together the final product. Completed videos will be added to the APL’s YouTube page, which currently features work created by youth over the last year and a half. The Video Club met for the first time at the end of May and will continue to meet every other week through mid-September. In between making videos about local organizations the club will work on other video content for the YouTube page, using their skills and talents learned in the club to educate the community about upcoming programs, popular books and much more!
Do you have a techie teen who loves to use video and editing equipment? To join the club they must be in grades 5-12 and occasionally be able to meet the club at locations other than the library for filming. The club meets every other Tuesday from 3:30pm-4:15pm.
