Programs

 Teen Programs at the APL are where you can hang out, meet new people, do something fun and creative, and have a snack with other middle and high school kids. Email mwitherell@sailsinc.org if you have any questions OR have a suggestion for a new teen program!

Here are the types of programs we are currently offering:

High Tech Club

Youth entering grades 5-12 are welcome to join us for High Tech Club! Come hang out and play with the library’s tech toys! There is no formal instruction, just hands on learning through doing! The High Tech Club takes place monthly, registration is required!  Click on the events tab to find information on upcoming meetings!

 

Photography Club!

Youth entering grades 5-12 are welcome to join us for Photography Club! Bring your own camera, or practice with ours. Weather permitting the club may spend part of the meeting outside practicing skills. Photography club is held every other month, please check the events tab for information on upcoming sessions!

Registration is required, space is limited!

 

Sock Monkeys Middle School Book Club:

Youth entering grades 5-8 are welcome to join us for the middle school book club. Each month we meet to discuss a new title. The middle school book club meets each month, check the events tab for upcoming dates.

Registration is required, snacks will be served!

 

Teen Book Club

Youth age 13+ are welcome to join us for the teen book club! Join us in discussing a new great title every month! Check the events tab for more information and to register for this monthly club!

Maker Madness!

Youth in grades 5-12 are welcome to join us for Maker Madness! During the program a variety of craft and other materials will be available for participants to use and be creative! Maker Madness takes place every other month, please visit the events tab to register. Registration is required.
