Back by popular demand, meet Community Development Director Emily Miller when she visits the library TODAY, Monday 9/28 from 3-4pm, to talk about the Housing Rehabilitation Program.
The City of Attleboro offers Housing Rehabilitation and Emergency Repair assistance to income-eligible, owner-occupied households through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The Housing Rehab Program provides funding for large improvements such as roofing, heating systems, electrical and plumbing upgrades, accessibility modifications, and the correction of code violations and lead-based paint hazards. For urgent situations, the Emergency Repair Program addresses immediate health and safety concerns, including heating system failures, significant water intrusion, or other conditions that require prompt attention. This program is designed to assist low- to moderate-income homeowners, with a strong focus on helping older adults remain safe and comfortable in their homes.
