October will be frightfully fun at APL! We have many fun events happening for all ages. Children can enjoy our Trick or Reading program on October 22 and 31, where they will receive a free book as their “treat” from the Library. Youth in grades 5-12 can attend our Pumpkin Magnet Craft session on October 6, where they can design a pumpkin magnet for taking home. Adults can enjoy two programs on October 29: a crafternoon creating altered Halloween books, and a mysterious presentation about nearby paranormal vortex The Bridgewater Triangle!
And last but certainly not least, all ages can enjoy our Pumpkin Painting/Decoration Contest on October 22! Decorate a pumpkin and leave your pumpkin at the library to help us decorate for the season. The favorites will be judged by The Friends of APL, and awarded a prize!
