NEA Big Read events for the whole family

While the library building is closed for renovations, the NEA Big Read: Attleboro is going strong! This weekend there is a poetry walk happening at Oak Knoll as well as virtual book discussion led by Assistant Director Joseph Morra. Next week we host a virtual panel discussion on Native American Literature on Thursday and The Literacy Center will hold a storytelling event on Friday.

Looking to spend more time outside enjoying fall weather? The Attleboro Land Trust is hosting a Poetry Scavenger Hunt at the Richardson Nature Preserve on Wilmarth Street on Saturday, October 9th.

Browse the event calendar at www.attleboros1abc.org to get more details on these and other events inspired by An American Sunrise by Joy Harjo.

To pick up a FREE copy of An American Sunrise, come to any of our events, or stop by one of our partner organizations, including the Attleboro Arts Museum, the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum, the Council on Aging, Oak Knoll and the YMCA.
