Looking for some fun, FREE activities this summer? Join the Summer Reading Program! It’s open to all ages, so every member of your family can join. The Summer Reading Program is brought to you by the Attleboro Public Library, Friends of the Attleboro Public Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins & the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
Starting Thursday, June 13 and running through Friday, August 9, the Summer Reading Program gives you access to many different types of activities & events. In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon mission, the 2019 theme is “A Universe of Stories”. That means that along with our regular summer activities, the Library will be holding various space themed programs this summer. We have programs for patrons ages birth- adult so there is truly something for everyone! You can take a look at the activities going on for babies, kids, tweens & teens by going to the Book Bites page on our web site.
Looking for books on your school’s summer reading list? Come in to the library and look through the displays! If your child is entering grades 1-8 in the Attleboro Public Schools, the displays will be in the Children’s Room and AHS displays are on the 3rd floor in the Young Adult section.
This summer you will notice 3 Universe of Stories photo opp panels created by the AHS carpentry department and painted by the middle school art teachers & students. All three panels are located on the first floor of the library. Stop by each & take a photo!
We hope to see you soon!
