The Kindness Rocks Project at the Attleboro Public Library

As part of our 2017 Summer Reading theme “Build a Better World”, the Attleboro Public Library has joined the international Kindness Rocks Project.

One message at just the right moment can change your entire day…outlook…life!

Started by Megan Murphy who was living on Cape Cod, the project was created to spread inspiration and motivation to unsuspecting recipients through random inspirational rocks dropped along the way. The movement has not only spread across the United States, it has spread to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, Thailand, Haiti, Italy and England.

The Kindness Rocks Project has two goals:

Goal #1: To inspire others through randomly placed rocks in the community

Goal #2: Recruit every person who finds a rock to join in the pursuit of inspiring others through random acts of kindness

If you would like to join local families that have added to the Project, visit the Children’s Room during any of the following dates & time to create your own inspirational rock. We have lots of rocks for you to choose from!

This Project is for ALL AGES and you do not need to register.
