Meghan Witherell, Tween/Teen Coordinator at the Attleboro Public Library

Greetings!

My name is Meghan Witherell and I am the Attleboro Public Library’s new Tween/Teen Coordinator. I am so excited to be here and am looking forward to meeting the library’s patrons! I am a long time Attleboro resident and can’t wait to connect with the community on a whole new level through the library.

In 2005, I graduated from Worcester State University, with a degree in Urban Studies. Since my graduation from college I have spent many years working with tweens and teens in a variety of educational settings in the Attleboro area.

My favorite book when I was growing up was Where the Red Fern Grows by, Wilson Rawls. These days I just can’t get enough of Harry Potter, both the book series and the movies, although my all-time favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz! I am always looking for something new to read or watch, so I would love to hear your favorites as well.

I am so excited to start planning events for teens at the library, if you have any suggestions for programs or books for book club, stop by, and don’t be shy! I would love to hear your ideas. I hope to meet you soon!
