While the library is currently open, we are in regular contact with city officials discussing the latest information about the spread of germs in the community. Things can change at any moment. We are encouraging people with internet access to use the library from home – download books, movies and magazines from the eLibrary. Visit our list of databases to learn a new language, practice your skills, or take an online class.
If you have library materials out that need to be returned but you don’t want to come out – until further notice, we are suspending fines and allowing all materials except for hotspots and ukes in the external book drop.
If you do not need resources in the library building, please do not visit. We are doing what we can to keep the building clean, safe and germ free by providing hand sanitizer at public service desks and cleaning hard surfaces more frequently than usual.
We know many families are avoiding public spaces and so we are collecting a variety of learning and entertainment resources for you to access from home. We’ll be sharing this information on our Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest as well.
