Fall means the Friends of Attleboro Public Library used book sale! Stop by the library at 74 North Main Street from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
Hundreds of new and gently used items for children, teens, and adults will be available. Find a great new read for yourself or your loved ones! Books make great gifts and many are in like new condition. All books are priced at either 50 cents or $1.00. There will be limited “make an offer” books, as well as a few dvd’s and jigsaw puzzles.
Proceeds from the sale help support the Friends of Attleboro Public Library’s continued mission to assist the library in providing the community with benefits outside of the library’s budget. Purchasing passes for discounted visits to such places as the Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston Children’s Museum, Heritage Gardens, the Massachusetts Parks Pass, are just a few of the many extras provided by the Friends. The Friends are also supporters of the Summer Reading Program, providing prizes and performers. The Big Read Kick Off Celebration also benefited from the generosity of The Friends.
Attleboro Library book bags will be sold for $5.00 on Saturday. Membership applications will also be available—consider joining the friends with your time or treasure! Both are greatly appreciated.
