Library Patrons Can Help Kids Get Cozy! It’s Pajama Drive time again!

BruinsThe Attleboro Public Library is once again partnering with the Boston Bruins and Cradles to Crayons, through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners to provide new pajamas for local children in need across the Commonwealth.  This is the 10th anniversary of this wonderful drive and the 3rd year the APL is participating! New pajamas keep children feeling warm, safe, and ready to learn and you can help!

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through the teenage years, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive—at home, at school and at play. Cradles to Crayons supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need.

To participate, drop off your donation of NEW pajamas in all sizes (infant through teens) at the Attleboro Public Library starting February 1 and continuing through March 15, 2017. The sizes of pajamas that the drive collects is not as limited this year, recognizing that teenagers need to stay warm too!

Last year, thanks to all of YOU the library collected over 140 pairs of pajamas to donate to this drive!  Can we collect even MORE this year?  With your help we can! Library staff will be wearing pajamas to work on  February 1st to help kick start the fun!

 Thank you for your support.
