We know sometimes it can be difficult to keep track of every book you’ve read, movie you’ve seen, and CD you’ve heard. The Attleboro Public Library can help you out by keeping a list for you- but only if you ask us.
This is a free service that had been suspended because of technical problems, but we are pleased to announce that it has been restored.
Because your privacy is important to us, SAILS doesn’t normally save the record of the items that you have checked out and returned. If you would like, however, SAILS can retain this information and leave it linked to your account.
If you sign up for this service, could access this list yourself by going to the “My Account” section of the library catalog and opening the “Checkouts” tab. Below the list of current checkouts will be “My Checkout History”. Our records are not retroactive, so we can only track items that have been checked out since you’ve opted into this service. We could also let you know at the circulation desk if an item you are about to borrow as been checked out to you previously.
You can sign up from the “My Account” section of the library catalog, or by asking at the library’s circulation desk.
This service is completely optional, and we will not track your checkout history unless you specifically request this. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call the library at (508) 222-0157.
