Did you know that you can borrow movies on blu-ray at the library? The Attleboro Library provides materials for education and entertainment to the community and that means more than just books. You can borrow magazines, dvds, video games and blu-ray discs. Our movies go home with you for two weeks – for FREE! Patrons can reserve DVD titles by visiting our website at www.attleborolibrary.org. Blu-rays can only be reserved by Attleboro cardholders, but any SAILS patron can visit our building and check out titles from our collection.
On the first floor of the library, in the central lobby, visitors will find feature films, blu-rays, Spanish videos and television series. The Augat Children’s Room holds G-rated movies, childrens television series and educational films on a variety of topics, including dinosaurs, American history, sign language and stranger danger. Some of these titles are also available in Spanish. Non-fiction documentaries for adults are shelved on the third floor, arranged by call number.
Travel videos are located with travel guides in our travel section.
Library staff are always willing to help you navigate the collection, so stop at a public service desk and tell us what you want to watch.
Our movie buyer creates monthly displays in order to highlight genres, award winners, and more. Whether you’re looking for a classic horror film, travelogues, documentaries or a TV series from your childhood, the Library has just what you’re looking for.
