Wednesday, February 18th at 6:00pm, APL is hosting an I LOVE Books Party!! Youth in 5th -12th grades are welcome to join us for the I LOVE Books Party!! During this party we will eat snacks, talk books and work on book themed crafts! We hope you can join us while we share our love of all things book-ish!! Registration is required.
Thursday, February 19th at 6:00pm Family Friendly Alien Escape Mystery Room (For Families with Children ages 6-12 years) Presented by Big Ryan: You have been abducted by aliens with a group of your peers. You have a chance to escape but only if you can follow the steps to charge the escape pod. Hurry! You have just 1 hour before the aliens discover you’ve broken free! Be the first team to finish and save everyone! Registration is required.
Friday, February 20th at 10:30am: Read & Sing (For kids under 6 years & their adult). Start your weekend with us! A love of reading is one of the most important gifts you can give your child. Early literacy skills help prepare children for school success. Join Mrs. Brown on Friday mornings at 10:30 for stories songs & fun! We will meet in the Balfour Room in the Library. No need to register just come in over & join us!
Friday, February 20th at 11am: Free Play Friday: Geared toward families with children under 6 years. Come for storytime stay for play! It is through play that children engage and interact in the world around them. Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination dexterity and physical cognitive and emotional strength. Each Friday we will bring out different toys for families to play with so stop by and take some time to play! No need to register just come in over & join us! Adults MUST stay with their children at all times.
The Highland Street Foundation is again offering Winter Camp, and free admission to a number of different parks and museums across Massachusetts, including Attleboro’s own Capron Park Zoo on Thursday, February 19.

With your SAILS library card, you can check out discount passes to places across New England, including the New Bedford Whaling Museum, Capron Park and Roger Williams Park Zoos, the Children’s Museums in Boston and Providence, or the New England Aquarium.
