This year we are launching a simple Winter Reading Challenge for ages 3 through adult. The Winter Reading Challenge bookmark encourages patrons to log 25 hours of reading between December 1st and February 1st. Patrons who turn in completed bookmarks by Wednesday, February 5 (sooner if they finish earlier) will be entered into a prize drawing for their age group. There is just one entry per patron. Bookish prizes will be based on age and will include gift cards to local businesses and cozy winter items.
–Bookmarks will be at all public service desks for readers to take home.
–Readers may read or listen to books. All reading counts!
–Readers can return completed bookmarks to staff at any desk
–Questions about the Winter Reading Challenge can be answered by library staff
The Winter Reading Challenge is brought to the community by Meghan Witherell, Krystal Brown and Darcie Schillinger and the Friends of Attleboro Public Library. Please be sure to ask what they are reading this winter!
