The second event of this year’s Attleboro’s 1ABC Community Read is this Saturday! Join us at APL from 12-3PM for Stress Less, Read More, which will feature local organizations that will share programs and services that promote mental health and stress reduction, both key themes in Nothing to See Here, this year’s title.
Learn about hiking programs, seated exercise, therapy dogs, bird watching, food accessibility, and more via the organizations participating, which will include Attleboro Public Schools, Mass Audubon Society, Attleboro Council on Aging, Attleboro Area Industrial Museum, Bristol Community College, Attleboro Norton YMCA, and many more.
As an added bonus, APL staff has created specialized booklists that augment the offerings of each organization. You’ll discover new parts of the APL library collection that may benefit you!
Additional events related to the novel’s themes will take place through the spring of 2024. Please check our Events calendar for more details. We encourage you to engage in this Community Read, because sharing a book with friends and neighbors promotes conversation, and ultimately, understanding while building and deepening relationships.
