This Saturday (October 14), there will be a partial solar eclipse from 12:17pm – 2:34pm. To celebrate this atmospheric event, all week long leading up to the eclipse, APL has a variety of passive activities for families to enjoy! Stop by the Children’s Room to explore a storywalk, take a “solar eclipse selfie,” pick up some free solar eclipse viewing glasses, and borrow some great space-themed books! On Saturday from 10:30am-12pm, Mrs. Brown will be offering rocket creation and making a holder for your solar eclipse glasses.
