Throughout April, APL has (stuffed) reading buddies looking for a good home! This is an excellent literacy strategy for students in grades 1-4, who may adopt one by committing to read with/to their buddy for 20 minutes a day. When you come in, ask for Mrs. Brown or another Children’s Room staff member to start the process of bringing home a buddy–and a good book or two!
