We are thrilled to announce that after so many months of being draped in construction sheeting and being partially open due to COVID, the library is finally, fully OPEN! Please join our celebration on Saturday, June 25 from 2-4pm for music, food and fun! At 2pm in the Marble Lobby we will hear from the local dignitaries that helped to make the building envelope renovation happen. Immediately following these speeches we welcome back folk duo Hungrytown, for an hour long performance.
Throughout the afternoon a variety of displays and activities will be available to library visitors on the first, second and third floors of the building. Library displays will highlight the wide range of library materials available to the community. Activities promoting the 2022 Summer Reading Program, Read Beyond the Beaten Path, will be available in the Balfour Room. Library lovers from 3 years old to 103 can participate in Summer Reading. Library staff will show you how!
After the library festivities, be sure to head a block over for the Expo for the Senses happening from 4-7pm in downtown Attleboro.
