On January 8, the Attleboro Public Library Board of Trustees adopted a new Unattended Child Policy. The new policy raises the minimum age of a child that can be left without a parent/caregiver in the library to 10 years old, from the previous allowed minimum age of 7. The complete policy is available on our website. In all cases, children must abide by library rules and understand how to contact their parent/caregiver.
