Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a day of celebration for the people of Latin America. A tradition practiced by ancient peoples, the holiday is continually evolving as new generations find ways to honor their ancestors. On Saturday, November 1st at 10am, families are invited to participate in a FREE, all ages storytime exploring the customs of this holiday. Join library volunteer Amarely Agustin for a morning of stories, music and crafts. Reserve your spot by calling the Children’s Room at 508-222-7820 or emailing attleborokids@sailsinc.org.
The library also has plenty resources to find out more about traditions around the world. In addition to books and videos, check out CultureGrams, an online database our cardholders have FREE access to!
