Early Learning is Fun with our AWE Stations!

photo (1)Have you and your child tried our awesome AWE stations?

Thanks to funds provided by a grant from Bristol County Savings Bank, the Attleboro Library has AWE Early Literacy Stations™ (ELS) in the Children’s Room. The AWE Stations are designed specifically for our youngest patrons, ages 2-8, and feature over 4,000 educational games and activities. Interactive and engaging content spans seven curricular areas: math, science & nature, social studies & geography, reading, art & music, writing & computer skills, and reference. The AWE Stations can be played in English and Spanish.

Studies show that the integration of blended learning into early childhood education can increase literacy, improve school readiness, and prepare young learners for curriculum that is based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math).  The AWE Stations are easy to use for young learners of all ages to build their literacy skills.

AWEBecause the AWE Stations do not use the internet, they keep children away from unwarranted websites and content.  The AWE Stations are ideal for all learning styles: auditory, visual, tactile & kinesthetic learners.
