Be an Environmental Hero and Escape the Ordinary!

master gardnersURI Master Gardener, Rusty Morrow, will give a lecture on Gardening with Native Plants TONIGHT, Thursday, July 16th at 7 pm in the APL Marble Lobby.

Native plants are adapted to the local climate and soil conditions where they naturally occur, requiring fewer amendments and upkeep. These important plant species provide nectar, pollen, and seeds that serve as food for native butterflies, insects, birds and other animals. So help promote biodiversity and stewardship of our natural heritage with native plants!

Register by calling the Library at 508-222-0157 or by clicking on our calendar page.

This program is part of the 2015 Adult Summer Reading Program – Escape the Ordinary. Attendees participating in this reading program will receive an additional entry for the weekly prize drawing.
